Our next bride, Kaitlin knows exactly what she wanted her big day to look like. Handmade details, soft and romantic colors, and of course lots of love! Besides know exactly what she wanted her big day to look like, she knew how to create it all herself!
Keep your eyes peeled for all of her DIY projects in this lavender paradise wedding, and then visit her blog, Miss Bizi B, to see if you missed anything. Wanting to see more of the fabulous images captured by Iris and Light? Check out the full gallery here.
From the Bride: Hartley Botanica was the 3rd, and last location we visited. Immediately, we fell in love with the beautiful foliage, romantic feel, and secluded location. The aisle you walk down is completely lined with an archway of trees, they have a live aviary where you can hear the birds chirping, and the area for cocktail hour is complete with a waterfall and a small grotto for the guests to enjoy. It’s truly a magical place!
The Best Memories Captured By The Best
One recommendation I would make would be to find the BEST photographer and videographer you can find within your budget, and don’t skimp. Make them a priority when planning. Although there is absolutely nothing I would do differently in regards to my wedding, I would like to relive it over and over again. Thank goodness I can with all the pictures and footage I have for the years to come.
How fabulous are all of the details at this wedding?! Would you believe a good portion of them are handmade? That’s right, this gorgeous bride is also an avid crafter, and she is here to help you DIY your way through your own wedding.
Curious about what details she made for her lavender paradise wedding? The gorgeous bohemian style floral crowns for herself and her flower girls, all of the paper flower place cards, the burlap and lace table runners and wine bottle table numbers, the chalkboard signs, and the programs and menus, just to name a few. You can learn just how she made these and more over at her crafting blog Miss Bizi B.
Make Decisions Early and Stand By Them
My advise to other brides would be to decide early in the process who will be taking care of what, and what you are and are not willing to compromise on. Everyone will have their own ideas and opinions, and as long as expectations are set early, everything will go off without a hitch
