When we first met Alena and Viktor, they were bubbling over with love!  After hearing their story and about all their wedding plans, we just knew that their wedding day would be wonderful. What we didn’t expect was that they would wrap up their wedding day with a surprise Trash the Dress session, but after their daytime ceremony and reception was finished they were up for anything!

After each wedding, we take a few minutes to discuss the moments that really stood out from the day. It may have been a great toast, fabulous details, or just a glance.  These moments usually form the foundation of our highlights films. For Viktor and Alena, their fun trash the dress session inspired their film.

Valentin + Julia: Love Story Film | Zinchuk Studios

We wanted to do something out-of-the-ordinary for Valentin & Julia’s engagement/love story session, so we headed up to Mt. Rainier in search of snow.  And what we found was adventure: we met rain, sun, and snow along our journey; as well as new friends and wildlife!

Valentin + Julia: A very snowy engagement! | Zinchuk Studios

Valentin and Julia were such troopers–when we suggested a snowy shoot at Mt. Rainier they didn’t blink an eye. When the weather forecasted rain and snow, they moved us along towards our goal: a totally unique, totally fun, totally Pacific Northwest engagement shoot. I’d say we were successful :)

Ruslan + Lena: A Love Song | Zinchuk Studios

We knew that Ruslan and Lena were cool from their Love Story, but we had no idea they were so talented!  Ruslan surprised us all with an amazing serenade for his new wife.  They really made our jobs easy for us with their fab style, great talents, and open hearts.

Chris + Jodie: an Adventurous Engagement! | Zinchuk Studios

There is so much I could say about this awesome couple, but I think I’ll let them do it themselves!  We spent a warm January weekend playing at some Seattle landmarks to capture their love story–it was so much fun to catch them playing frisbee in formalwear, tighrope walking at a park, and capturing stories of their past adventures on film.
