We have a special treat for you this Monday that was captured by two talented Denver wedding photographers, Audrey Hannah Photo and Flourish Studio Photography. This inspirational wedding shoot was based around vintage literature while incorporating green and reusable items.

The flowers are pretty much out of this world! They were designed by one of our favorite floral designers, Cori Cook Floral Design, and of course everything you see is locally grown. Keeping with the green theme, one of the  gowns was designed by Adele Wechsler, who uses environmentally friendly fabrics. All of the inspirational decor was purchased from antique or vintage shops. Nothing you see here is brand new. Everything has been re-used into something beautiful without a heavy environmental impact.

Fun Facts From The Shoot:

• Bow-tie made from old book pages
• Table runner made from old book pages
• True vintage suits
• Locally grown florals
• Herbs ready to be planted as wedding favors to inspire new growth
• True vintage furniture circa 1920

We are not sure if you remember when we featured this adorable Record Sleeve Save The Dates but, we are extremely jazzed to see them used at an actual wedding. The wedding of Em & Glenn that took place in one of our favorite places, British Columbia. Shawnigan Lake to be exact.

They have some quirky wedding details that we are pretty sure you are going to adore. Emily & Glenn’s wedding had a vintage theme and Emily incorporated this into even the smallest details. The decorations were fabulous! From the plates, to the pillows on the chairs, to the encyclopedia center pieces; everything was vintage.

We especially love Em’s Oui wedding ring, her Vivanne Westwood Blue Shoes and of course there adorable custom wedding wine labels. Everything is simply delightful and captured perfectly by Orange Passion Photography.

Believe it or not  three weeks before their big day their venue canceled on them. Thankfully some kind neighbors let them use their tennis court for the reception and helped them make the rest of the garden look beautiful for their ceremony.  They pulled it off, and everyone came together to make their day a perfect one! If you would like to see there wedding video click here.

We adore Em and Glenn’s vintage inspired table decor. Simple yet tastefully done, and of course doable. A variety of vintage plates where used that gently lay upon a antique table cloth. Each guest had a brown box wrapped with twine and filled with cookies as their favor. Inexpensive, yet super thoughtful.

We have a incredibly lovely wedding later today that you are going to want to stick around for! All the bridesmaids from that wedding just so happen to all have vintage wedding parasols.

If you were thinking of adding parasols to your wedding day decor, Bella Umbrella has every color and design that you can imagine. Most of their parasols can be rented for around $20. Here are just a small taste of what they have to offer.

The answer is yes, that is Carrie and Aidan in the new Sex In The City movie holding a Bella Umbrella.

Central Florida wedding floral and event designer, MMD Events designed the gorgeous floral arrangements for this vintage wedding, which was featured in their directory on my Kate Parker Wedding. We loved this wedding for vintage Wednesday because it captured the subtlety of the vintage style. This beautiful vintage wedding also ties in the classic style with certain vintage elements. The blue and white color palate is typically seen more often in the beach theme, but it works perfectly with this vintage styled wedding! The beautiful floral arrangements are a mixture of whites, greens, and pale pinks, which adds a subtle pop of color to the event. The vase on the left is so fantastic … the blue pattern is a perfect addition to the blue and white color palate.

Thanks to MMD Events for sharing this beautiful vintage wedding!

It’s Vintage Wednesday on my Kate Parker Wedding! This gold and pink inspired vintage collage pulls in vintage elements from floral designs, attire, and place settings. The old fashioned china mixed with the bright tea cup is a perfect way of mixing actual vintage pieces with today’s more modern styled vintage. The gold elements throughout the inspiration board are a reminder that gold is an elegant and fantastic way to get metal accents while still getting pops of color. The faded pinks in the floral arrangements are very vintage, not to mention gorgeous and feminine. Check out the vintage inspiration board below and visit my Kate Parker Wedding for more!
