Meghan is the General Manager at Bluegrass Chic so she was a little jaded when it came to flowers being one of her most important things on her wedding day. She had been planning her wedding since she was a little girl and has been excited about this day because she has been in the industry for around nine years. When it came to asking Bailey what his requests were for the day, he did not have much feedback to give other than, "We are not doing a white and green floral wedding." Which fit her vision perfectly. They both loved the beach which made The Island Resort a perfect place to get married. They wanted the beach, but not ON the beach. And the perfect way to make this day pop was the tropical foliage with traditional flowers.

the looks

When picking out bridesmaids' dresses, Meghan went back and forth on colors and style. She finally texted her girls and said, "Just wear whatever pink dress you like." Seven of Meghan's bridesmaids were engaged or married within a year and a half of each other, So she was in many weddings and knew she wanted her girls to be comfortable. We loved how the green tropical leaves popped against their dresses. The only suit that would accent that perfectly was the tan the guys wore. Meghan told Bailey that since she got to choose whatever dress she wanted, he got to choose whatever suit! He loved the idea of the hunter green with a fun tie and boutonniere! We think it turned out perfectly.

Their meet cute story

Meghan and Bailey met six years ago in Seaside, FL. Fast forward to this year, they brought it back to where it all started, in the panhandle of Florida. The details are what made this day unique. From the sea glass nameplates to the bright colors and an all-outside affair to her dress change! It was a beautiful day filled with love and fun.

the ceremony

With the blue sky kissing the glistening waves on the water behind them, Bailey waited for his bride to grace the green floral-lined aisle. Meghan was a vision in a crisp A-line ballgown with a sweetheart neckline that fell gracefully off-the-shoulder.

advice from the happy couple

The couple's advice for upcoming weddings is to not be afraid to do what YOU want. The day is for you and not everybody else. Soak in the moment and realize this will be the only time all the people you both love will be in the same place at once.
