It has been a few a years since they drained the lake and with being in a drought it hasn't filled back up.
Now you will find all kinds of amazing forage where there used to be several feet of water.
Many saw this as a sad thing to drain the lake but we wanted to something positive come out of it.
The first dress is a blush champagne color. I felt like this was the perfect dress for the beach.
The bride moved around comfortably through out the day and it added a sexy element for the bottom of the dress to be just lace.
Through out the floral arrangements there were pheasant feathers to bring out the boho feel.
The antler centerpiece on the pallet table was a DIY project. My husband loves to collect antlers and with a $4 bottle of gold spray paint from Hobby Lobby we had a beautifully unique centerpiece for our pallet table.
We wanted it to be glamorous with a natural touch. What is more glamorous than gold?
Loving this gorgeous cake from For Pete's Cake.
My favorite were the swoon worthy arrangements in the driftwood logs.
I loved all the touches of gold we had through out our shoot including the second dress the bride wore in the water. I love fearless brides and thought a bride wearing something other than the traditional white would help portray that.
The couple was so much fun to work with and was so passionately in love even when the camera wasn't on them.
It all came together beautifully and it was great to work with all the artists involved.
