From Intertwined Events:
Intertwined Events, together with an eclectic group of Wedding Chicks preferred vendors, worked to create a styled wedding shoot that combined the rustic elements of woods with the modern edge of mirrors and metals to create a shoot that is sure to inspire the masses.
Inspiration originated inside a clean modern-day kitchen that matched woods, metals, silver and glass perfectly. While they work great in a kitchen, these elements aren’t typically used in wedding decor. However, used with the right color palette, we found the look to be timeless and chic.
Since the kitchen inspired our shoot, it was only appropriate to incorporate kitchen tiles into the table runner. In order to make sure the table runner didn’t look too much like mom’s kitchen counter top, it was accented the with balsa wood and beachwood, which complemented the shiny floral vases and charger plates. A fun, architectural sunburst mirror became a major focal point in our shoot which was also outlined on the smaller wedding cakes and favors, while an inspiring pillow found on Etsy was incorporated on the larger cake and had a striking resemblance to the balsa wood florals.
