When you combine a breath-taking venue, a lovely bride, a few tablespoons of toadstools, layers of moss, exquisite floral design & charming stationery… you end up with Woodland Wonder. This inspiration shoot was dreamed up by Amanda Schelin of Branches Event Floral and Mollie Openshaw of Polka Dots & Daisies. Together with a team of talented local vendors they created a magical woodland wedding. For this nature-inspired look, it was essential to start with a beautiful backdrop. The Bungalow Reception Center, in Pleasant Grove, Utah was the ideal and picturesque setting used for this photo shoot. The Bungalow not only provided the gorgeous location, but also served up some impeccable dishes. From Baked Brie with crackers to a Caramel Apple Bar, the food showcased just how detail-oriented the team at The Bungalow really is. It’s well known that no wedding is complete without the cake, which was graciously provided by Cake-A-Licious. The deep red fondant tied in perfectly with the caramel-dipped red apples, and, with tiny whimsical accents like toadstools, flowers and moss, the cake made quite a statement. Spotted toadstools also made an appearance among the gorgeous greenery designed by Branches Event Floral. From the flawless, unique bouquet to the stunning birch pole centerpiece, Branches Floral made the whimsical details of this shoot come to life. No detail was over-looked, even live snails made their debut in this woodland scene. A few less slimy snails were also incorporated into the place cards and invitations, designed by Polka Dots & Daisies, who created one-of-a-kind wooden signs and birch tags for the apple cider bottles as well. Real wood tags were also used on the outside of the embossed wood-grain pocket invites. Small bottles of Wildflower Seeds were created as favors using wood-grain paper for tags to tie in with the invitation. After the woodland world was created, the last thing to add was a perfectly made-up bride. With a fabulous dress provided by Gateway Bridal, hair piece by Branches Floral and fresh look from Hair & Make-Up By Steph, Pam (our bride) was flawless! Thankfully, Camilla Photography & Azure B Photography were there to capture the gorgeous bride and all the Woodland Wonder. Their stunning images tell the story better than we can… Enjoy!
