Words from The Photographer

The natural lighting was soft inside the carriage house where the bride and groom got ready, making for beautiful and stunning bridal photos. The outside gardens were perfect for an early afternoon ceremony and offered old buildings, grassy areas for croquet, and fields for beautiful portraits.

The bride did her florals with silk flowers, a family member made the cake, the bride and her sister in law made the lavender teapot cookies, and the table decor and grooms attire were found at vintage/thrift stores. The groom made the alter they were married under, a perfect touch for such unique and intimate wedding day.

Words from The Bride

I have two favorite memories. The first one was while I was getting the final touches on my hair and makeup my favorite song by Lana del Ray came on and I felt like I was a movie star. My other favorite memory was that we chose not to do a first look on the wedding day. Coming around the corner to see Dustin's face was so special and loved seeing his reaction when I walked up to him.

We created our own playlists for the reception but our first dance was "Turning Page" by Sleeping At Last. My dad also played two songs during the reception, which was so sweet and thoughtful. It was really special that he was able to do that for Dustin and I, and that our guests got to share it too.
