Handmade Anthropologie Wedding

From The Bride:

I absolutely loved The Wedding Chicks, and as you’ll probably see in the photos, I did a lot of DIY projects similar to the ones that you feature! My now-husband, Tim, and I really worked hard to create a wedding that felt really “us” and that turned out to have a very shabby chic, vintage, DIY, anthro sort of vibe. Tim and I, along with the help of friends/family, crafted most everything for the wedding (and also for the large rehearsal dinner we had – which was in a tent in my mom’s backyard) – save-the-dates, invitations, decorations (e.g., fabric and tissue paper poof balls, banners, hanging fabric pennants, photobooth props), cake topper, escort cards, programs, etc. We also collected milk glass and old books (along with many other items!) from various and sundry thrift stores – these were used for the table centerpieces, along with handcrafted table numbers that were placed in Ikea frames and placemats that we found at Target. Tim also did the website (www.ellenandtim.com)
