Fun And Feisty Forest Wedding

forest wedding ideas

Sometimes we run across a bride and groom with such big personalities that you can see evidence of it all throughout their wedding day, but Mallory and Ky's entire wedding party is full of fun and feisty personalities. Which we love! Adriane White, one of our favorite photographers, admits how much fun she had working with this group and we don't doubt it.
Curious? You will just have to keep scrolling to find why. It's worth it, we promise. Not enough here for you? Well don't forget about the full gallery. There's lots more to see of this fun and feisty forest wedding.

From Adriane White Photography:There is a comfortableness and ease between Mallory and Ky and I could sense that they truly know each other. I was inspired by their loving families and long time friendships. I'm honored to have photographed Mallory and Ky's wedding day.

Mallory and Ky married on the quaint grounds of Bell Hallow nestled in the beautiful Santa Cruz mountains. The cottage was a playground for photographic creativity and the grounds offered countless picturesque, natural settings! In addition to the bride, the bridesmaids all wore white. This added a unique, timeless feeling and it didn't hurt that they were photogenic and enthusiastic about taking photos as well.

From the Bride:It's hard to think of anything that I would have done differently! I suppose I would have placed us, (the officiant and the wedding party) differently, since some guest couldn't see. However, it was nice to have our own private circle of loved ones so it was less nerve racking.

Our budget was around $20,000 Splurges: the dress, the invitations, the venue, the groom's shoes, DJ Savings: The catering (since he provided seating, service, etc.), the flowers, the bridesmaid dresses, my shoes, signs and center pieces, the alcohol. We didn't do too much DIY except for welcome signs, but we found ways to save from going local and booking things early.
