Dainty Wedding With Pops Of Pink

Firm Anchor Photography

Kate and David had a wedding that was the perfect mixture of elegance and fun, and the John James Audubon Center was the perfect place to blend the two. The indoor and outdoor areas are equally gorgeous and can accommodate any shifts in weather. Splashes of bright pink incorporated a whimsical feel throughout the day from the bridesmaids dresses to the gorgeous florals from Cottage Flowers. To see more of the delights from this dainty wedding with pops of pink, view the entire gallery here, beautifully photographed by Firm Anchor.

From Firm Anchor:This is a really cool wedding for us because I (Ashley) shot everything solo. My husband + the other half of Firm Anchor was a groomsmen! The groom, his best friend. We really loved this wedding because of the unique, yet simple location and decor. The Bride has a very classy style but made it look so dainty and pretty!

Yay we are married

From the Bride:We wanted our wedding day to be more that just the wedding itself, we were excited to have a huge celebration with our dear family and closest friends to start off our marriage! That is why we chose the John James Audubon Center. We felt we could achieve the perfect combination of elegant and casual there- so it wouldn't be forced in anyway. Looking back on our day that's what made it really amazing, the most important and meaningful people in our lives sharing the most meaningful day in ours! My favorite part of the day was walking back down the aisle MARRIED to a song written by my husband for ME!

Because we chose an outdoor venue we knew the decor should be kept simple, as not to take away from the beauty surrounding us throughout the evening- we choose subtle pops of color here and there. We wanted the day to be fun and natural- so we kept the decor simple and fun... I picked pink! The only thing I would change about the wedding day would be to have the ceremony earlier, so the reception could be just a little bit longer! We felt as though we wanted to thank everyone for coming to celebrate with us, and my husband and I wished we had a little more time! We didn't want the fun to end!
