You may remember Jess and Pontus from their Conservatory of Flowers wedding. Instead of an engagement session, they opted for a “We Did” session a few months after their wedding. What’s great about a “We Did” session is that you get to wear your wedding dress again!

It was great spending time with Jess and Pontus again and getting to know them better. We had such a great time chatting about architecture, art, design, and life in general! We headed out to the Golden Gate Bridge and the Marin Headlands for lots of variety and gritty textures.

Mucha produced a flurry of paintings, mostly featuring beautiful healthy young women in flowing gowns, often surrounded by lush fresh flowers. The women often wore amazing head pieces such as the lovely comb above. He often used soft pastel colors, a utterly perfect theme for a romantic garden wedding.

The Art Nouveau comb can be purchased at Past Perfect Vintage. Wonderful for bridesmaids and not super expensive around $45. The goddess dress can be purchased from the ever wonderful Monique Lhuilllier.

For all you DIY brides below are some divine free Art Nouveau fonts. The first one is Trinigan and the second one in Art Noveau Caps

One common struggle that couples encounter during the wedding planning is the balance between pleasing their parents/relatives and their friends.  Cindy and Andy found the perfect solution - throw two seperate parties!  This was a friends-only wedding!  Cindy and Andy had a super fun wedding at Calamigos Equestrian in Burbank, CA.

All the groomsmen had matching Nike dunks!

Ruby red, blush pink and a hint of tangerine is a perfect color palette. The perfect blend of everything soft and sweet. 39 East Photography is responsible for this utterly eye catching wedding. I love how there where a ton of delicate Asian lanterns hanging from the ceiling and the Necco Waffers where also a nice little touch. It is amazing that the littlest details can make the biggest impact on your Wedding day.
