We will continue your do-it-yourself backyard bridal shower that we started yesterday with the lunch menu and drink bar.
The Vine’s Leaf in San Clemente was the mastermind behind this lovely number and Lane Dittoe Photography took all the photos. Stay tuned, because as I said before there is so much more. Basically we will provide you with everything, I mean everything to put this event together.

Do you love how Aly set up the drink table, that is actually an window that she purchased at a flea market and we propped up on a bird bath. It was a bit wobbly, so we recommend something a bit sturdier.

How to make Kiwi and Lime infused water with a splash of mint!
They have a very light, refreshing flavor that’s definitely not just water and making them with seltzers reduces down the calories. Especially for those us trying to watch what we eat. Pick up a glass pitcher! We love this one over at William Sonoma. They have the option to get it monogrammed. They can be engraved with a single- or triple-initial monogram. A perfect gift for the bride. Do not forget they have a spectacular registry.

My husband and I registered for our South American honeymoon and got an amazing response. I included so many fun details in the descriptions (rather than just “dinner out”) and people LOVED it. In fact, we even had $$$ leftover to buy some cool trinkets + pieces of art. Definitely a good way to go!
hmmm…since we’re in the early stages of wedding planning, this is a pretty hot topic of debate at home. Right now, we’re leaning toward India – we have a friend from there who told us about all these remote, beautiful, beaches, and then we can swing by Nepal on the way home (since we’re in the neighborhood, ya know) to appease the latent mountaineer in me who really wants to just elope on Everest.
What a great concept! I wish this had been around when we got married 9 years ago! Now, I’m just looking at the gorgeous photos longing to be somewhere warmer… like the tropical paradise of Hawaii.
We used Traveler’s Joy for our honeymoon to Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam and it was amazing! Our guests helped us have special dinners, massage treatments and even a boat cruise! If only we could do it again, I would send us to Morocco!
I want to go to Balli! I just saw a shot from Balli on Oprah :-)
We mostly wanted our guests to help us out with our honeymoon, but there were a couple of other things we wanted (like nice everyday plates and flatware) so we ended up using myregistry.com to register for both. We picked out whatever we wanted from any store and then we made a honeymoon fund. Problem solved!
I’m dying to go back to Australia to practice yoga and take surfing lessons. Life is a lot more relaxed and focused on those around you there. I can appreciate the vibe and miss it terribly!
So cool! Why didn’t I know about this when I got married. I wouldn’t have minded second hand kitchen items if I had memories from a tropical honeymoon to keep me warm.
Oh man, sure could use a trip to somewhere relaxing like Hawaii…definitely time for another honeymoon! I would register for this in a second!
We want to go to St. Lucia! I have been hearing so much about this place and after seeing it on the Bachelor we are hooked! Hopefully one day we can :)
Wow this is fabulous- I’ll make sure to pass this on to my brides
This is an awesome idea! Wish it would’ve been around when I got married! We’d go to Tahiti and Bali…but then there is always the temptation to go to Europe and do a little Bavarian adventure. Hmmm…
We decided to make a honeymoon fund on the registry we had already started on myregistry.com since it already kind of had a honeymoon theme with all the luggage we put on there. This way we were able to make funds for dinners, activities, airfare, etc.
