HELP A GROOM-TO-BE OUT!!!

OMG! So, we have this friend that has had the same wonderful girlfriend for about 6 years. He is FINALLY getting ready to propose. However, he has no clue on what to do. Not only on how to ask her but, where to buy her a ring, or what kind of ring she might like. Just to fill you in – he has no idea the difference between an engagement ring and wedding band. He doesn’t have any guy friends to turn to for advice, for they are all forever bachelors.

So ladies (or gentlemen), can you PLEASE help us out and come up with a few basics for our friend as well as all those potential grooms out there. Like, how the heck do they find out your ring size with out giving it away? Where is a good place to propose, that does not involve the whole world watching you? Please leave some comments with some advice tips. Our favroite comments will be posted in a HOW TO for HIM!

A last little tip that our dear friend needs… how does he know what type of style of ring would she like? She is a stylish girl, who loves Frankie B Jeans (weird fact we know) and loves the beach. Actually they met on the beach … which is obviously a perfect place to ask her. Right? Hint hint our friend.

A Groom’s Recomendation

Hello,

My fiance and I are recently engaged. She’s happily neck deep planning for the big day however I was allowed (actually I begged) for one assignment. I got to choose our photographer. Erika, my fiance, can make the calls on colors and flowers but the one thing I know I will savor most from our wedding, aside form my beautiful bride, will be our photos.

In my search I noticed that the grooms out there rarely spoke up with any of their suggestions or tips. So I figured I’d take the time to put in my two cents about the photographer we found, just in case some other groom comes across your website in search of a guy’s recommendation.

We ultimately decide on Sandra Pan who I found online at www.sandrapphotography.com. She was always very prompt and easy to reach when we had questions about her packages and pricing. We also met with her before we made out decision to make sure that we were totally comfortable. Sandra has since completely exceeded our expectations. We took our engagement photos a few weeks ago at the Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica (a great location for engagements shoots). All her shots came out amazing! You can see just a small fraction of our pictures on her blog. We had an engagement party not long after we took our photos and Sandra drove to our house at 11:00 at night just to deliver a CD with our images so we could print out some photos for the party. How many other photographers would go out of their way like that? I hope that other couples out there can see Sandra’s work and decide to give her a call for their wedding. Take it from this guy, they won’t be disappointed!

We feel like we need to give a little groom love! Ok, so all this time and energy
spent on your gown, jewelry, shoes, and on and on …. The poor grooms are
almost an after-thought. Sad, sad we say. They are just sent to the tux shop
to pick up a black suit and a tie. That’s it? That’s all they get? Come on girls,
let’s give the fellas a little attention! What can you do, you ask? Lot’s of
