Italy has long been touted as one of the leading romantic countries. So, when Jennifer Skog Photography shared with us this romantic engagement shoot we were more than thrilled to share it with you.

Bram, the groom actually contacted Jennifer Skog Photography without his bride to be, Rina knowing. He asked if Jennifer would be willing to travel to Rome to surprise Rina with a Couture Engagement Shoot in Italy? How incredibly romantic is that?

Bram and Rina actually live in the Netherlands, so Rome is just a quick plane ride over! So off Jennifer and crew went to shoot a romantic Engagement shoot. What a wonderful job! Be sure to check out the entire shoot, which is breath taking by clicking here.

Airhorns and Lasers WPPI Party

Pardon us Brides!

We would love to meet up with all you ultra fabulous vendors. There is going to be a woo-hoo party on Sunday March 7th 2010 in Vegas and we are going to be there. Airhorns and Lasers the only WPPI party you will ever need. Full of some major fun.

There won’t be any vendor booths, gift bags, or cupcakes. There will be a bar, a dance floor, and the industry’s most well known vendors, bloggerss, and taste makers getting down under one (relatively small) roof. You will hang with your favorite people, talk, dance, drink, get sweaty, and be very happy you went!

An Indian Wedding In Dallas

I love today’s Real Wedding!

You know when you see things and they just take your breath away. Well.. that is how I felt when Mike from Ash Imagery sent me this Indian Wedding. The wedding was of course beautiful but, the artistic approach that Mike took to shooting this wedding was down right breathtaking.

The vivacious colors are so incredibly dynamic. The attire that is traditionally wore at an Indian Wedding is always so unbelievably gorgeous. Especially at this wedding were Ramiza, the bride actually designed her own wedding outfit. Both outfits from the color to the patterns. It was then maade by Sabeen from Pakistan. Wahaj, the groom designed his own wedding outfit as well and was made by Junaid Jumshaid in Pakistan. Both gorgeous!

Ramiza and Wahaj were married in Dallas, enjoy this artistic masterpiece.

Sweet Treats + Farmhouse Wedding Ideas

3. Do you know who Michelle Rago is? Well…let me tell you, she is this over the top extraordinary wedding event designer. She just came out with a new book, Signature Weddings. They have a sneak peek over at her web site chalked full of good ideas and steal worthy wedding ideas. Be sure to check out some of her Real Weddings, all of them are definite must sees.

4. Betsy and Iya over at Etsy. They carry graceful dashing and sassy jewelery made over in Portland, Oregon. Do you love these little french numbers? “I love you more today than yesterday, but not as much as tomorrow.” And then you make out. boo. yah. Go and get them!

5. I want a miniature garden! I found this over at how about orange’s blog a super cute blog and they found them over at Midwestern Living. They give you step by step instructions to creating your own little piece of heaven.

Dominican Republic Island Wedding

As a child I spent some time on the island of St. Croix which is quite far from Punta Cana but, none the less I have a fondness for all things tropical. I instantly wanted to jump on a plane to sunshine, sandy beaches and crystal waters. So, if you are in a cold and snowy place in the middle of winter you will appreciate our next wedding that Lifework Images shared with us. They did an incredible job of capturing the love between David and Tyneka and that island spirit.

David and Tyneka actually were the lucky winners of a destination wedding giveaway that Lifework Images was running. How amazing is that?

About The Wedding From Lifework Images:

From the second we received their invitation in the mail, we knew that we were in for a treat of gorgeous details for David & Tyneka’s wedding. The invitations had impeccable attention to detail and had multiple layers of sea-blue shimmer paper with a finish of delicate velum. Upon unraveling the raffia bow and removing the miniature starfish on top, one could see that the font matched their customized destination wedding website. Opening the contents further reviled more information for guests, a map of the Dominican Republic, and also the provision of two custom luggage tags to match the theme.

The Dominican Republic and the Dreams Punta Cana Resort & Spa provided amazing details in landscape and culture, more home made items such as programs which were also used as fans, beaded barefoot sandals, and David’s wonderful linen casual suit all complimented this beach themed wedding.
