Vintage Chic Industrial Wedding

Cute bride and groom portrait

Arin and Aarons dreamy wedding at The Croft Downtown in Phoenix, AZ was pretty darn romantic! The industrial chic design of the venue was paired with vintage decor inspired by their “Library of an old traveler” theme and featured vintage books, DIY painted globes and Edison bulb lighting.

We’re drooling over the bride gorgeous sparkly gold gown from Sarah Seven and the vintage teal bridesmaid dresses from Jenny YooSwoon! Want more? See every last moment from their heartwarming day in the full gallery here  from Mike Olbinski Photography.

Travel inspiration

From the bride: I think our inspiration was how to keep a large wedding intimate. By using candles everywhere and low lighting we really just wanted the amount of people to feel like we were all in a cabin in the mountains somewhere. We kept describing our style as library of an old traveler, and somehow our venue and planner nailed that perfectly.

The perfect venue

The moment we walked into The Croft Downtown we all knew it was the one. It has these beautiful open rooms, gorgeous warehouse doors and little touches and chandeliers hanging everywhere. They made a venue that can completely transform into anything you want, and they have Angelic Grove to make that happen. They saw our vision better than we did and we're amazing to work with. I remember on that day walking around shocked to see everything I had imagined transformed (way better than I could have imagined) into real life. They also are constantly upgrading the space to make it better and better.

DIY painted globes

Our wedding planner Victoria Canada and her incredible team had made three globes for us in our wedding colors that had the names of all of the places Aaron and I have traveled highlighted on them. That was amazing.

From one couple to another

Just keep focusing on each other, as long as you guys are happy, everyone else will be as well. Also pick your top three priorities (band, photographer, food) and only have strong opinions about those, all the other details will fall into place. Oh! And get Victoria Canada as your wedding planner, I was 100% stress free the entire planning experience because of them!
