Wait didn't Christmas just happen? It sure did, but the holiday spirit can live on year around in your heart right! Marina and Michael are both in love with one another AND Christmas so when they were choosing how to announce their wedding date they decided to have a Christmas tree decorating engagement shoot. And Forget decking the halls, this totally cute couple decked out their very first Christmas tree right at the Simonson's Christmas Tree Farm. Love it!
This tree farm engagement shoot will have you wishing for Xmas again! We may not be able to turn back the clocks but we can recommend checking out every last image from Dyanna LaMora Photography by visiting the full gallery. Looking For Fun & Natural
From the Bride-to-be: So for a little backstory, when my fiancé and I were dating, I used to drop a little too many hints that I would love our proposal to be photographed. Being the amazing man he is, not only was our perfect proposal photographed, but Michael even planned for an amazing photo session after the proposal. So since we had already taken some formal shots, when it came time to think of what we wanted in an engagement shoot, we decided we wanted to do something more fun and natural.
We knew we wanted something in the winter, since our wedding is in the summer, and we realized how much we both love Christmas time. With some inspiration from Pinterest, we decided on a Christmas Tree decorating shoot.
Christmas Dreams Do Come True
With the perfect photographer, she set our dreams to reality! We went to Simonson's Christmas Tree Farm, near Princeton, NJ and picked our perfect (and first!!) tree. After decorating it with tinsel and ornaments, we "attempted" to put our star on the tree. Although our measurements were a little off, it was a priceless photo nonetheless! From there, we sat down in front of our tree to sip on hot cocoa from the cutest mugs. And although it didn't actually snow, we brought some (fake) snow of our own and created our own perfect winter wonderland. We couldn't have asked for more perfect photos capturing a day filled Christmas spirit and a whole lot of love.
