Mismatched perfection

From the bride: From the very beginning I knew that I wanted my bridesmaids in different dresses. I wanted them to choose dresses that they felt fabulous in but most importantly comfortable in and I also loved the idea of mismatched dresses. It was a long process but I think the dresses complimented each other perfectly and I couldn’t have been happier with how my ladies looked!

 SOMETHING BLUE

Along with serving in the military, the groom is also an officer. The day of the wedding he gifted me a white sapphire necklace with a ring of blue sapphires in the center. It was his way of officially welcoming me into the law enforcement family as his wife. The blue signifies support for law enforcement and it was also my something blue.

Cutest seating chart

The seating chart was one of my favorite details especially the large frame that encompassed the smaller frames. I was so excited when the owner of Shabby Chic by Susan, finally found us the perfect frame! We did have to spray paint the larger frame and some of the smaller ones to get the perfect look. The same gold spray paint that was used for the frames was used for many of the other décor details. Our seating chart would not have been possible without the help of one of our best friends/groomsman who help us put it all together.

A touch of greenery

The dessert table was actually the final detail that we put together. I found the Love sign at Homegoods the week of the wedding and from there the idea of the backdrop and décor was born. After some hesitation, since I didn’t want to add on to our flower budget, I had asked the florist a few days before the wedding if she would be able to provide some extra sprigs so that we could add some detail to a few items. Back Woods Florist went above and beyond and left us so many extra sprigs and flowers the day before and day of the wedding that we were able enhance the look and add details to the seating chart, dessert table and several other items.
