Oh Colorado you look so glamorous in this glittering garden wedding! All the gold and sparkling crystals really brings out your rivers and mountains! Oh, and did we mention the glitter-mania that is this glam chic garden wedding reception?! From the table linens covered in shining sequins to the gold and crystal table decor we were continuously pick our jaws up off the floor.

Planning Your Wedding Takes Beauty & Brains
From Tamara Gruner Photography: Kristin and Linn got married at the Westin Riverfront Resort and Spa in Beaver Creek last fall. It was a pretty fall wedding with a stunning bride in her Hayley Paige dress and beautiful florals. The florals turned out very romantic in their pretty pastel tones. They matched the soft theme of the bride's and bridesmaids dresses.
Like Kristin's dress there was a little sparkle added with the crystal candle holders and tabletop decor. It was a super emotional wedding throughout the day - starting from the first look to the ceremony and to the reception. Linn, our groom, was very emotional and you could feel how much he loves his pretty bride!
From the Bride: If you are planning an outdoor wedding, weather is a variable you cannot always predict, so having a back up plan is highly recommended. We had a second ballroom rented along with having a number of umbrellas on hand for our wedding party and guest. I am thankful for our planning because the beautiful skies of Colorado did indeed bless our ceremony with showers. The umbrellas saved the day by allowing us to remain outside for the ceremony.
A Simple Thank You Goes A Long Way
Take time to express gratitude to one another and your families. As a couple, we recommend taking a moment prior to the start of the celebration, to observe the small details of your ceremony and ballroom. We also suggest thanking each guest individually. Your wedding is such an intimate celebration and the guests deserve a moment of your time. Visit each table while dinner is being served, this was a great moment for us to hug and cheers each guest.
Managing Your Money
When it came to budgeting for our wedding, we felt it was important to write down our top three priorities for the wedding. We knew we wanted to allocate more time and money towards: food, an open bar, and of course a live band who would keep the dance floor alive. Along with choosing our priority list, we had a grand total in mind and remained focused on staying within our budget. We created an excel sheet to help organized the cost that was associated with each vendor.
