I Do Venues: Arista Winery Putting “Country” Into A Wine Country Wedding

I Do Venues: Arista Winery Putting 'Country' Into A Wine Country Wedding

You HAVE to check out the slide show for this wedding - amazing!

About the venue

This adorable celebration puts the "country" back into the idea of a wine country wedding and I can't think of a more picture-perfect location than Arista Winery in the Russian River Valley. The oak grove at Arista is an exceptional backdrop for your celebration. The large rolling lawn can accommodate up to 200 guests and the embracing overhead branches of ancient oaks create an incredible frame (the trees are lit with overhead cafe lights). This couple added some hanging white lanterns and the white definitely "pops" against the warm naturals hues of the trees.

Ask the expert

Trying to choose how to best conquer conceptualizing your wedding design can be overwhelming. You look at blogs, magazines, and boutiques. You fall in love over and over again before you begin to piece together your unique look. I love it when brides collect ideas and weave them into one wonderfully creative design. This bride, along with the help of Park Avenue Catering and Dragonfly Floral, did an amazing job. The overall theme of this wedding seems to be a country chic combination of burlap paired with aegean blue (light teal). What brings this great collection full circle is the attention this couple paid to the consistency in color throughout the design and the numerous textures that they were able to weave into the the look.
Check out the collateral suite. The neutral background is a perfect canvass for the gorgeousness of the blue lettering accented by splashes of muted tangerine - a great color combination without being too bright or overdone. The unique fonts are the perfect way to create a fun and unique look without going towards a specific "graphic" and making the design seem too much like a theme. I love this site because it tends to be so flexible. This event is a gorgeous casual winery shindig, but the collateral could easily be the perfect beginning for a very "retro" chic celebration.

I Do Venues wants to recognize the talented team of wedding professionals who helped to make this bride's dream a reality: Photographer - Misti Layne; Floral - Dragonfly Floral; Cake - Patisserie Angelica (Etsy cake topper); Catering - Park Avenue Catering; Rentals - Wine Country Party and Events.
