Best Day & Week Ever

From The Studio B Photography: To say that groom Geno had a wonderful wedding week might be a bit of an understatement. In the span of just a few days he was ranked #29 in the NFL Top 100 and then got to marry his college sweetheart Kristen. The love that the two of them share is wonderfully genuine and they’re both so much fun to be around!

Their wedding at the St. Regis Atlanta wedding was incredible and filled with dazzling details. Legendary Events did a phenomenal job with the flowers and decor, especially the show-stopping arbor they created for the ceremony.

All day long Kristen was so excited to see her vision for the wedding brought to life. She kept exclaiming “This is everything!!” and it truly was! One of the sweetest parts of the day was when Kristen walked down the aisle and Geno saw her for the first time.

Keep Your Eye On The Prize

From the Bride: My advice for future brides and grooms is to remember the big picture! Sharing your love with each other, family and friends and professing it publicly is the ultimate goal. So when tensions might rise over budget, necessities, or the dreaded guest list, remember what's really important and it will kind of diffuse a potential argument.

Let it Go & Don't forget the snackes

On the day of the wedding I was really caught up in making sure everything was fine and running smoothly even though I had my wedding planners, mother and bridesmaids handling things. Let go, trust them to handle anything that arises, and enjoy every moment.

My last tip would be to have left over and food and cake sent up to the room for a midnight snack! We were really hungry post wedding.

Wedding disasters are never fun in the moment but they make your wedding day unique and give you a fantastic story to tell when you look back on your best day ever. Kristen and Geno's big day was certainly filled with gorgeous glamour but it was not without a few whoops.

The disasters that occurred were mostly wardrobe malfunctions. My husbands tuxedo pants split while he was taking a low to the ground football pose picture (think heisman trophy) with his groomsmen. Luckily the designer of his tuxedo stayed close just incase and came back and stitched them back up, and no one could tell.

Then the strap on my dress popped when we were presented as husband and wife. I was shocked but there wasn't much I could do at the moment except keep walking down the aisle. As soon as we were back in the room it was an easy fix to snap it back in place.
