Magic, pure magic! This gorgeous bride said "I do" to her handsome groom in December at the Timberline Lodge and the results have us taking back every terrible thing we might have thought about winter. This frosty little lodge wedding at the top of Mount Hood in Oregon had the wedding party posing majestically against snow covered pines in their formal attire and Sorel boots, trust us, you are going to want to see more of this!

From Olivia Strohm Photography: Hailey + Evan were married at the gorgeous Timberline Lodge on a sunny December day on the tip top of Mount Hood. Surrounded by close friends + family, they exchanged vows in a quaint and cozy a-frame loft in the lodge followed by a delicious breakfast brunch (the groom's favorite food is bacon). The bride wore a blush pink gown and the groom wore a tweed suit. They braved the cold + hiked a bit up the mountain to take photos with the incredible summit of Mount Hood behind them. Beautiful, rich colored florals + winter inspired decor filled the day with the perfect winter wedding feel.

From the Bride: A piece of advice I have for future brides and grooms is to take a moment together to take a mental picture of the day. During the reception, Evan and I did not have a lot of time to sit down together, but the first time we did, we both scanned the room and took in our year of planning and this once in a lifetime event. Also, try not to get separated during the reception. It can be hard to get back to each other when you are talking to so many different people. Evan and I had a goal to greet to all our guests, to try to get around to each table and thank everyone for coming, and we did it! That meant a lot to us, sometimes weddings are too big that this would be impossible, but we talked about how this was a priority for us, and it really paid off. It felt great to be able to say hi to everyone and thank them for journeying up a mountain to see us get married.
