Elegantly Rustic Wedding at Devil’s Thumb Ranch
On a beautiful day in May, Kati and Christopher were joined by their closest friends and family while they exchanged their wedding vows at Devil's Thumb Ranch. Surrounded by the Colorado Mountains, this country-loving couple had the intimate and glamorous barn wedding they had been dreaming of.

From the Bride:We wanted our special day to be a combination of talents from our closest family and friends, and a celebration of our histories. We fell in love with our venue, Devil's Thumb Ranch, because it was the perfect mix of my husband's love of the mountains and my love of all things country. The glitter and fur accents set upon a rustic ranch backdrop made for our perfect combination of decor, which we and our amazing wedding planner called our "Barn Glam."
We are head over heels in love with this rustic wedding stationery designed by Alex Hickey. The bakers twine and the button, not to mention the kraft envelope are the perfect mix of rustic elegance
My favorite memory of the day was listening to my husband's vows and imagining the great adventure ahead of us. We recited our vows on the same day my grandparents did 67 years ago. We made our day less traditional, with a softer and more personable tone. Being surrounded by the most important people in our lives to share our 'Best Day Ever' was the perfect celebration of our future together, and truly the greatest feeling in the world. We can't help but relive every romantic moment because it honestly was such a perfect and joyous day full of smiles and laughter, and of course love!
From Love This Day Events:The vision that Kati and Christopher shared with me for their day was a soft and neutral romantic ranch version of the Best Day Ever. Mixing feminine details (soft and lush flowers - hydrangeas, peonies, garden roses and astilbe, crystal chandeliers and draping in the barn) against barn wood and burlap created the perfect balance of rustic and elegant. And Kati added pops of glam with glitter letters, cocktail stirrers and sparkly confetti. And the giant metal sign that read "best day ever" was the icing on the cake. I loved every part of this design and every minute working with this couple!
From the Bride:Aside from controlling a late season snowstorm in May, the only thing I would have added to the wedding might have been a champagne bar. I just adore champagne, but it was a little outside of our budget range!
