From Jennifer Blair Photography:Austin and Taylor's wedding day was pure Southern Elegance. The historic venue set the tone for the whole affair. The stunningly refurbished and luxurious 1830's Inn is one of Mobile's oldest homes. It is situated on a beautiful cobble stone street with ancient oaks surrounding. It is a beautiful oasis in the middle of a bustling city.

All the other details complimented the heritage and nostalgia of the Inn, from the elegant details of the invitation to their elegant wedding attire. Taylor’s sleek dress dress was perfectly accented by a white peony bouquet with an heirloom family handkerchief wrapped around, a breathtaking cathedral length veil and her lovely blonde locks swept back in a chic up-do. The groom and groomsmen looked so debonair in their dark blue-grey suits with black trimmed collars. Of course, the ladies were gorgeous in their chiffon gowns as well

Nothing wowed me more than the stunning ceremony decor. The pew-lined cobble stoned street was beautiful, but nothing compared to the jaw-dropping chandelier hanging from a grandiose oak in the center of everything. It was beautifully framed by white pillars and draped fabric pulled back with lovely florals. After the sweet couple exchanged vows underneath the canopy they danced the night away under string lights along with their closest family and friends. From the Bride:I had been planning my wedding since I was about 5, so pulling everything together was easy because I already had it drawn up in my head. I even had a notebook full of photos I have clipped out of wedding magazines for years. Wedding magazines were my prize when we would go to the store, not toys. I wanted the wedding to be magical. I accomplished that by using Italian string lights over the courtyard for the reception, by hanging a chandelier from an oak tree for the ceremony and using drapery over ivory columns, which I found at the Mobile Ballet.

The flowers were lush statement pieces, adding to the overall effect. I chose the color navy as an accent because I wanted the wedding to be mainly neutral but not too plain. The main color was ivory so I could get a fresh overall look. We desired that the wedding day to be as relaxed and worry-free as possible, so my mom and I planned heavily for 10 months and then relaxed for the last 5. It was such a wonderful experience. It all came together to be a true Southern Wedding.
