Autumn Wedding Ideas

Celebrations At Home Events whipped up this Autumn Engagement spread for you. We knew instantly that you would fall in love with it, no pun intended. Ha. One thing that we really appreciate about this fall inspired shoot is that it can easily be recreated. Most of the decorative details you see are hand-made.
The overall look is outdoorsy and rustic to appeal to the males, but with additions of lace that softens the look and appeals to the ladies. I think this idea would be equally as lovely for a small intimate wedding reception or bridal shower. Captured with perfection by James Linkowitz Photography.

Chris Nease of Celebrations At Home Events!
Beginning with the table design, I brought in apple details through a sign which read, "you're the APPLE of my eye", caramel apples at each place setting, and of course, apple cider to drink. The centerpiece was a collection of bottles filled with wild flowers, some acorns, and candles to bring in the romance. A small "LOVE" banner was made with hang tags and lace, as well as matching place cards which tied up the utensils. I thought it was a unique and unexpected touch to make 'place mats' out of frames. I simply removed the glass insert and wrapped fabric around the cardboard backing.
The buffet table is always a fun focal point to create. This one featured a burlap backdrop with an "apple tree" detail fashioned from a manzanita branch and faux apples tied on. The framed sign on the buffet demonstrates the overall theme: "he PICKED her...she PICKED him," and is surrounded by mini apple pies, apple cider, and small jars of apple butter for the guests to take as a favor (which includes a label saying, "we PICKED this just for you."). There are even more apples piled in baskets for guests to "take their pick" and carry home.
This is a unique and unexpected theme for a young couple, and would be an excellent way to celebrate a new engagement during this time of year!
