Classic Cincinnati Winter Wedding: Snowy Perfection at the Monastery Event Center

Share

Bride and groom with elegant bouquet at their wedding

Every once in a while, life imitates art… or is it the other way around? Either way this next beautifully traditional wedding day looked like it lept off of the screen of a classic Hallmark Christmas movie. Everyone and everything looks absolutely perfect, from the gold sequin gowned bridesmaids to the jaw-dropping Monastery Event Center reception venue; They even had a perfectly timed snow flurry right after their “I do”s.

Siiiiiiiiigh, it warms our hearts when we see things turn out so perfectly, especially on such a big day. Keep scrolling to see more and then be sure to stop by the full gallery for even more photos thanks to Amanda Donaho Photography

Mandy and Brad had a perfectly gorgeous (snowy!) Cincinnati Winter wedding. I was honored to be their wedding photographer after also photographing Mandy’s brother’s wedding a few years ago. It’s always such a joy to arrive on the wedding day to see familiar faces from families I’ve grown to love.

Mandy was a stunning bride and is just as sweet as can be. It was (still is!) abnormally COLD even for a December Cincinnati wedding, but the bridal party rallied for a few outdoor photos and we were lucky enough to have the gorgeous Monastery Event Center as their wedding reception venue, so of course, we did some shooting in the (warmth!) there. I was overjoyed for them when during the exit from the church, the snow fell – heavily – and loved getting a quick snowy portrait of them under the glowing street lamps. Congrats to this beautiful couple!!
