Hunter Chic Wedding

rustic wedding paper

Family means a lot, especially to this cute couple who have known each other since preschool. When it came down to where to hold their hunter chic wedding the answer was easy; the family plantation named after the groom's late grandfather.
Rustic and woodsy, this beautiful wedding day is filled with organic elements to make even the most outdoorsy person feel right at home. You can see more of this impressive day, captured by Holland Williams Photography, when you visit the full gallery here.

A Special Location

Post Oak is the name of a piece of land owned by Hunter’s grandfather, Pop. Post Oak is a very special place because it's where Hunter grew up hunting with Pop. A few years ago, Pop passed away from Leukemia.

Hunter and Ballard wanted to get married at Post Oak because it is such a special place for Hunter and a special way to honor Hunter’s late grandfather. Notice that Post Oak Plantation spells out Pop.

Family Made Wedding

The couple said “I Do” beneath magnolia trees and a cross made by the groom. The barn was built by Hunter’s family for the reception but will be renovated in the future to a hunting lodge.
