From Elvira Kalviste Photography:Both families played a crucial role in putting the event together. All the centerpieces, bouquets and bridesmaids’ halos were handmade. Even the flower girl basket was hand woven by Ayla’s mother. Ayla created her own seed packet wedding favors out of recycled paper bags and placed them on hand made birch holders.
A Moment of Silence
From the Bride: Dave and I wanted to celebrate our special day in a way that was unique and reflected us; we love the outdoors and wanted as much of our day to be under the elements as possible
We wanted people to feel comfortable, so that everyone’s beliefs could be incorporated. Because of this my mom asked for a “silent moment” in our ceremony where people could say their own prayers, or send us love in their own way.
