Lesley and Gregg wanted their wedding to be a perfect reflection of them – and it truly was! They were married in the beautiful redwoods in California which posed the perfect venue for their peppy rustic wedding.

Accept help from family and friends
Gregg and I met in college, where we both played sports and our wedding planner, Kaella of Kaella Lynn Events, incorporated awesome style elements to reflect where we met. Our friends and families are very important to us and they played an integral part in helping make our wedding special. A close family friend officiated and my sister happily volunteered to do all of our wood signage. Our guests can’t stop talking about what an amazing weekend it was and we couldn’t agree more. It was a perfect wedding!
Bride’s tip for lowering stress
Once we found a good venue and a great wedding planner, everything fell into place. If you did not grow up dreaming of your wedding and do not have time (or an interest) in doing the planning yourself, find a professional you trust and click with. The process becomes a lot less stressful after you find a point person who can help you choose among vendors and guide all of the design aspects and details of the wedding day. Also, remember that in the end you get to marry your wonderful partner and get to spend a weekend with all of the people you love most in the world. It puts everything in perspective.
