Modern Wedding Details

From Ira & Lucy:The bride, Ella, showcased her graphic design skills, designing the custom invitations and matching signage, featuring peach water color texture and geometric accents.

Ella and her bridesmaids relaxed at the Modern Hotel pampered and dolled up by the incredible hair and makeup team from Behrens Artistry. I surprised Ella with a beautiful Plum Pretty Sugar robe! The bridesmaid necklaces, featuring the same geometric mod design seen throughout the signage and event design, were gifted by Ella from Arch and Craft via Etsy.

DIY Your own pallet backdrop

The ceremony was incredibly personal with a lot of laughter and beautiful sentiment set in the art gallery. Nathen's vows had everyone dabbing their eyes. For the backdrop, we sanded and stained pallets to create a modern, yet laid back look. DIY TIP: For staining pallets we highly encourage purchasing a stain spray gun! Ashley, from Bouquet Flower Shop, added touches of floral to create the perfect amount of romance and whimsy.

One of our favorite details, and a great way to decorate, is purchasing local produce! We got a huge box of freshly picked peaches from one of our favorite mom and pop fruit stands and added peaches to the table centerpieces.

romantic ending

Read on to get some sage advice from the bride and to see how much this gray and peach wedding cost. Please note that costs change as the years go by, and prices are subject to change. This is just one couple’s breakdown to give you a rough estimate on how much a wedding like this may cost you.

I would definitely say not to move in the same week of your wedding! The week leading up to your wedding should be relaxing and fun, make sure you take the whole week off work (I didn't). It is so easy to get caught up in the little things a few weeks from the wedding, but it is important to remember that you love this person you are about to marry and it is not their fault that you are stressed! So make sure to LOVE them!!
Alright this is the rough estimate, without all of the last minute details of course!
