Words from the Vendors

From Mauis Angels Weddings:There were actually two different locations for this fabulous event! The wedding was a private estate in Olowalu with the reception following at the Lahaina Animal Farm & Guest Ranch. It was important to the bride that the ceremony was in a different location as it was her dream to be on the oceanfront for the ceremony so that's what we gave her.

pink lemonade and water for thirsty guests

Mauis Angels Weddings provided a customized pink lemonade/water station and the Bride envisioned a kiawe archway with small flower treatments. The flower of her choice was lavender, lavender, lavender! We even incorporated it into her custom designed Haku.

For the reception the Bride wanted a vintage, elegant, and romantic theme. Lots of lace, lavender, custom vintage place settings and candles. Of course her love for horses and entering her reception in a horse drawn carriage was also at the top of her wish list, so what better setting than the Lahaina Animal Farm & Guest Ranch.

Being that the brides side of the family all flew in from Japan, where Josh and Momoko both reside, we had a Japanese translator on hand throughout the event to translate. Josh's childhood friend conducted the ceremony.

Other miscellaneous details were the action stations that were created to display the food. It was important to the Bride and Groom that everyone enjoy in good conversation and spend intimate time together so setting the stage with action stations allowed just that.
