New Hampshire Chic Rustic Farm Wedding

kelsey dewitt photography

Kim and Jamie got married at the beautiful New Hampshire wedding venue – Bishop Farm. Located in the heart of the White Mountains. They had lots of gorgeous details, following a rustic theme, complete with light pink and grey accents, baby’s breath, and perfectly in season peonies. The whole day was so dreamy!

Simple and sweet, nothing is overdone, which allows the venue the perfect opportunity to shine on it’s own. Delve deeper into this chic rustic farm wedding in the full gallery here, captured by Kelsey DeWitt Photography.

Words from The Vendors

“I call her my Kimmy…” I think that’s when everyone’s hearts melted. When Kim & Jamie exchanged vows, there weren’t many dry eyes around. In its elegant details, the venue manages to maintain the rustic feel that many brides are looking for. The couple’s ceremony was surrounded by rustic red barn siding.

During cocktail hour and the reception, guests were kept entertained with dancing in the barn, yard games on the lawn or on the lower level of the barn, and a campfire at dusk. The grounds at Bishop Farm made for the perfect location for Kim and Jamie to become husband and wife surrounded by their friends and family.

This venue had it all – elegance, a rustic feel, and a fun atmosphere. The newly restored barn at Bishop Farm is absolutely breathtaking! The chandeliers are completely gorgeous and the sheer fabric draped from the ceiling was just the icing on the cake.

Rainy Big Sur Wedding

Claire Pettibone Dress

This cute couple tied the knot in a beautiful patch in Big Sur, with the Santa Lucia mountains rising from the Pacific Ocean behind them. The beautiful scenery combined with their lovely day equaled smiles all around – such smiles that didn’t falter even when a few downpours paid a visit.

The day was elegant with a twist of vintage in the details, particularly apparent in the stacked vintage crate and chest cake table that is simply too cute to pass up! Smile, stay awhile, and take a look through the full gallery here, captured by the talented Rad + In Love, to get a glimpse of even more wonders from this rainy Big Sur wedding.

Words from The Vendors

Hannah and Nick came up from LA to be wed in the stunning beauty that is Big Sur. Some of our favorite highlights (aside from the natural beauty of the couple and the environment!) was all the white umbrellas peeking out during the ceremony, the bride’s dress, the family style cheese boards on the table, and the groom (a SUPER talented musician) serenading his bride with a song he wrote before the rest of the band led the night into a great dance party, topped off with a bonfire and Smores. So fun!

Words from The bride

Nick is a professional musician, so when it came to choosing a band we had an amazing community of musicians to choose from. We eventually enlisted our friend, and Nick’s songwriting partner Aaron McLendon to be the Musical Director and assemble the band. Our friends played live music all day— for the ceremony, cocktails (barely pausing for a torrential downpour!), dinner, and of course, the dancing. Nick’s band, The Endangered also played a few songs, including one that Nick wrote for me— He surprised me by playing it for the first time at the wedding.

The main piece of advice I give brides planning their big day, is don’t be afraid to ask for help. Decide which details are the most important to you, and what you’re comfortable leaving to your fiance, planner, parents, bridal party, etc. Two weeks before the wedding, we saw a 10% chance of rain in the forecast, and needed to make a quick decision about a tent. Overwhelmed, I told our parents that we needed help, and that we trusted whatever decision they made. In the end, I was overwhelmed with gratitude by the way my friends and family rose to the occasion to help pull this day off. It was joyus, warm, and full of love. It was pretty magical. I can honestly say I wouldn’t change a thing.

Warm And Sunny California Wedding

warm palette wedding bouquet
The sun was shining, and it was a beautiful California day at Saddlerock Ranch for  Kelley and Patrick’s wedding. With a color palette full of  pretty pinks, bright oranges, and soft yellows their wedding was just as bright and cheery as this spectacular day.

Scroll through to see all the  prettiness! We especially love the honeybee favors, but know you will love everything.  You must see this entire warm and sunny California wedding in the full gallery here, all captured by Chaffin Cade Photography.

Advice From The Bride

Overall, we enjoyed everything about our wedding and wouldn’t have changed a thing! My advice for future brides is to stay organized during the planning process and ask for help when you’re feeling overwhelmed! Stay focused on the things that are important to you and your fiancé. It can be overwhelming when looking at other weddings online or reading wedding magazines.

There are so many resources for brides that it can actually add stress to the planning process. There is no way you can implement every fun idea/décor idea you find online so keep sane by prioritizing your top 3 goals for your wedding and stay focused on those things. The other little details will fall into place and everything will come together on the day of the event!

There are so many fun, quirky aspects to this property, and the images we captured in front of the little yellow school bus became some of our faves. Patrick and Kelley said that their highest priority was that everyone have fun… There was dancing, a gorgeous, massive cake, signature drinks, the breathtaking view… every guest of this wedding will definitely have fun-filled memories!

Wedding lighting is so important.  It sets the tone and ambiance of the evening. Do you love the cascading lights hanging from the trees? It really makes everything feel magical. Don’t you think?
