Delicately Delicious Cookies in 15 Minutes

easy nutella cookie recipe

These delicately delicious cookies are pretty much the easiest cookies to bake in the world. And …. they are good. You only need a few ingredients that you already have in the fridge,  they take about 15 minutes, including baking time. So about four minutes of prep and about ten minutes to bake. It was so easy and so quick that they could be considered dangerous.

Enough for 12 cookies

1/2 cup + 1 tbsp all purpose flour
1 large egg
1 cup of Nutella
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips

15 minute cookie recipe

1. Preheat oven to 350F

2. Combine flour, egg, and Nutella (We ran out of Nutella and used Trader Joe’s peanut butter chocolate. It was simply delicious.) in a large bowl and mix together until dough comes together and no flour lumps remain. Stir in chocolate chips until evenly mixed into the dough.

3. Place a piece of foil down and grease it up. Makes for easier clean up.

4. Make dough balls, about 1 1/2 inch in diameter. Place on cookie sheet, about 2 inches apart. Press down slightly with a fork criss cross on dough. Similar to when you bake peanut butter cookies.  Your dough balls will look like round disks on your baking sheet.

5. Bake for about 10 minutes. Don’t worry if they are still slightly soft in the middle. Let cookies cool on rack until they are set, about a half an hour. If you must, have one have a glass of milk handy and a napkin for they will crumble everywhere. Enjoy!

Your ingredients for Nutella Cookies differ. One place it states 1/2 cup flour and another place it states one cup flour. Same for the chocolate chips. 1/2 cup or 1 cup?

They look scrumptious. I am going to make them for my two granddaughters who are away at college. Their parents are going to see them this weekend and I plan on including these as one of them is a definite “Nutellaholic.”
She’ll consider me the best grandmother in the East !
    Thank you, Jeanne

Just as the other comment reads. What is the correct amount of flour and choco chips. Reading different on the recipe in 2 places. In the picture it reads one amount. In the actual recipe it reads another. Please respond to this comment. Would like to try it!

The Nutella Cookie recipe is differnt as it begins from the photo image noted ingredients. One shows 1/2 c for flour & chocolate chips and the other shows 1 c of each. I’d like to make these but need to know which is correct.

    Thank you.

Is there any leavening in these? Do you use self rising flour? For them to look like this they must have something to make them rise? Thanks for your help I will try them with self rising flour, that prob accounts for the extra tablespoon of flour.

What is the proper amount of flour and chocolate chips to use?
I must admit…my favorite way to eat Nutella is with a tablespoon. I know!?!

The quantity of ingredients in text and image, are different, please can you tell me what is the correct?

    Thanks in advance

  18. -100. Rebecca says:

I’m going to assume that 1 cup of flour is incorrect. I had to add liquid to mix all the ingredients together.
