Becky and Charles said “I do” at Saint John Berchmans in Logan Square, Chicago. Since the Bride’s family are members of the Columbia Yacht Club, it felt natural for the two of them to celebrate with dinner and dancing there, right off the lake with skyline views.
Because there was a light “nautical” theme to the wedding, Becky decided to incorporate that into the favors. Guests were given little bottles that had candy fish along with a “message” that acted as double duty for guest’s escort cards. What a cute idea! Their guestbook also acted as both guestbook and table numbers. Keeping with the message in a bottle idea, guests where encouraged to leave a note inside the empty wine bottle that has the table number on it. The Bride and Groom would then open a bottle and read the messages on whatever number anniversary is on the bottle. Love it!
