Mini Pie Wedding Favors

mini pie boxes for wedding favors

One of yesterday's features had mini pies on the dessert table all boxed up and ready to go! An exceptionally fantastic and budget friendly wedding favor that you can make for your guests a few days in advance or pick up store-bought.
To box up your edible mini pie wedding favors, you can purchase little cupcake boxes wrap a ribbon with a wooden fork around it, and it would be super cute. We also love the convenience factor of  Favor Days "Sweetie Pies" DIY favor kit. This handy dandy kit includes everything you will need to wrap up 20 mini pies. Each kits include boxes, tags, wax sheets and pre-cut twine. Below are a few pies that we would not mind taking home and enjoying after your wedding.

Remember our apple pie baked in an apple? These would easily fit in the above boxes and are super easy to make. However, we would equally love biting into the Mini Apple Pies above from She Wears Many Hats.

Tablespoon made these easy peasy mini cherry pies in a muffin/cupcake pan, using Pillsbury pie crusts, a few cups of your favorite pie filling, and an egg. Read on for step by step instructions here from Tablespoon. If you are feeling like you want to make everything from scratch the above recipe was inspired by Adventuress Heart. You can learn how to make her 100% home-made mini cherry pies here as seen below.

silken chocolate raspberry tart

Confections of a Foodie Bride whipped up this Silken Chocolate Raspberry Tart. Obviously not mini, but you could make little mini pies or a whole one for yourself. Whatever works! Described as an intensely beautiful chocolate tart that was closer in texture to a dense fudge brownie than a flour-less chocolate cake… inside a pie crust.

The Picky Palate made Oreo and Peanut Butter Layered Baby Lattice Pies. Seriously... even if you do not make these for little wedding favors, make them just because. The mastermind behind these treats also has a cookbook, The Picky Palate Cookbook  with an oreo baked in a chocolate chip cookie on the cover. Need we say more?
