Erica couldn’t decide between a veil or a floral crown for her wedding day, so rather than choosing one over the other she decided to wear both! Her dress was also a combo – a sweetheart lace gown with a full lace sheath over the top from Love Couture Bridal.
Eric’s unique ideas for her wedding day were warmly welcomed by this Potomac Maryland bridal boutique. They believe in nurturing feminine creativity, building up confidence and enhancing the positive feelings that so naturally surround wedding ceremonies.
On the Venue:
While these days they host more wine connoisseurs than founding fathers, Early Mountain Vineyards continues a historic tradition of hospitality and welcomes your group—large or small—to come drink local, eat local, and taste the Best of Virginia wines. After exploring Early Mountain Vineyards and experiencing their hospitality, you’ll likely return to plan your winsome winery wedding.
Erica and Andrew chose The Lawn for their ceremony, with it’s scenic views of the historic barn, the vineyard and the gardens. As the sun dipped behind the Blue Ridge foothills they exchanged vows under a handmade ceremony arbor built by Erica’s dad.
After the ceremony, wedding guest were ushered into the elegant and spacious Event Hall to enjoy dinner and dancing indoors. This magnificent space affords its guests spectacular views of the vineyards and Blue Ridge foothills through gorgeous floor to ceiling windows. Before being seated, guests were asked to sign a wooden puzzle piece rather than a traditional guest book. So fun!
For the reception Erica and Andrew sported customized Chucks with heels that read Mr Frap and Mrs Frap. How cute is that? You can customize your own converse at converse.com, be who you want to be in Converse sneakers.
