Fairytale Disneyland Wedding

wedding hair with seashells

Cathy and Patrick are Disney aficionados. Their first date was at Disneyland and Patrick proposed to Cathy at Disneyland. It was only fitting that their wedding was to happen at Disneyland itself! Cathy’s favorite Disney movie is the Little Mermaid so the wedding was themed around that using a beautiful color palette of seafoam, coral, gold and white.

A lot of shells, starfish, ribbons and the spectacular visionary designing skills of the Charmed Events Group were used to bring the wedding’s fairytale love to life. To see all of the Disney-filled details of this wedding, view the full gallery here, all photographed by the highly talented Il Mare Photography.

From the Bride:
Getting married at Disneyland was one of the best decisions of my life. First and foremost, it brought my relationship with my husband full circle. Our first date back in 2005 was at Disneyland, he proposed at Disneyland in 2011, so of course it was a no brainer to lock down Disneyland as our wedding venue. Second, it gives us an excuse to go back at least once a year, most likely on future wedding anniversaries.

For the Guestbook and Escort Cards, Charmed Events Group decided to do a play on “a message in a bottle.” For the guestbook, guests were invited to “leave a message” for the couple. A custom wooden plank board was built for the messages to be displayed on which will become future artwork for the couple’s home. Guests names and seating assignments were inside a gold glittered tube on a bed of stand.

A scroll program emulated King Triton’s scroll and seafoam and coral ribbon wands were waved by quests as the couple walked down the aisle. As a loyal Disney fan, only Disney Fairytale music was allowed while the Bridal Party was getting ready, Cathy walked down the aisle to the Tangled Soundtrack, and the Little Mermaid soundtrack was the music of choice for the dinner reception. Don’t miss the phenomenal job Fleuretica did of draping the ceremony arch with seashells and orchids.

For the Reception, each guest had a love knot and seashell for their place setting and each table was indicated by a glass bottle with hanging seashells in it. One of our favorite details was the “Happily Ever After” sign made in nautical rope to adorn the background of the head table.

Aside from the location, there were other elements infused into our wedding to make it truly “Disney.” Some of my favorites include the “Little Mermaid” themed programs at the ceremony and menus at the reception, the “Bride” and “Groom” signs printed on glittery Mickey shaped heads on the back of our chairs, and of course, it was quite epic when Mickey and Minnie dropped by our reception to cut the cake with us and take photos with guests, it was money well spent to see the surprised and ecstatic looks on our guests’ faces!

  6. Every customer on Amazon has registered; you cant buy without first registering.

She used to go through in details the photos of her childhood.
When we go to other people’s wedding or look at the pictures of their wedding we think and talk about how good the photos are and some where
do wish to get the same quality of pictures for our own weddings
    also.

  7. I’m curious to find out what blog system you are utilizing?

I’m having some minor security problems with my latest site and I’d like to
find something more safeguarded. Do you have
    any suggestions?

  8. Nowadays people have much access over the internet rather than watching a television. They invoke the same
kind of interest to their audiences; however this time around, it would be
through the web medium, instead of a movie theatre preview.
The plot of this Disney movie may sound quite simple at first,
but this can capture the hearts of Disney fans because of the crazy
antics and colorful scenes and characters.

  9. Improve your information page website by using a collection of interesting topics regarding your
church or particular person associates. The more expensive printers produce about
55 pages per minute. As it celebrates its 40th birthday, Southern Living magazine
    continues to go from strength.

  10. I’m really enjoying the theme/design of your website.
Do you ever run into any web browser compatibility problems?

A couple of my blog visitors have complained about my site not operating
correctly in Explorer but looks great in Opera. Do you have any advice to help fix this issue?

  11. As with their printed counterpart, the online Yellow Pages
offers many different online listing options. The far-flung
areas are also becoming advanced right now because
of the internet connections which are also available now
for their use. ve heard one of these guys, but have you ever
    listened.
