Onto part II of Elizabeth Messina and her lovely photographs for Munaluchi magazine. This time around we are showcasing the breathtaking cover of the new Munaluchi Spring/Summer 2013 cover, and a snippet of the editorial bridal feature. It’s positively overflowing with gorgeous gowns from Caire Pettibone, Ines di Santo, Romona Keveza and Monique Lhuillier. Not to mention all the breathtaking accessories from Twigs and Honey and Jannie Baltzer.Stay tuned for Part III coming up shortly. To see more of this truly exquisite day, be sure to peruse the gallery of all the images by clicking here.
Each and every single one of the wedding gowns featured are whimsical, romantic and utterly beautiful. The gown above is one of our favorites from Claire Pettibone’s Spring 2012 Collection. Possibly it’s the ivory jeweled flowers and embroidered tulle over silk charmeuse that makes us so incredibly happy. The juxtaposition of gilded refinement and relaxed country living brings Parisian luxury to a rambling garden party in full bloom in this timeless gown.
From Jackie of Munaluchi magazine:
I’m so thrilled to share with you the new Munaluchi Spring/Summer 2013 cover + an editorial feature that will leave you lusting for more.  It’s especially exciting to finally reveal this cover because it’s right around three year anniversary of our launch.  When I started this magazine, it was simply to provide a source of inspiration for women of color…to provide stylish and well curated inspiration for brides-to-be and wedding enthusiasts of diverse and multi-cultural backgrounds. And since then, it has flourished into so much more.  Our beautifully styled elopement is overflowing with inspiration.  Look out for more in the new issue on newsstands in February.  In the meantime, you can sign up here to get updated once it hits the shelves.  Â
We had a chance to work again with Elizabeth which is always an awesome pleasure. With her passion for art, and immense creativity, the end result is always something gorgeous…and she’s ridiculously humble despite all of her success.
I am so grateful for the entire team that worked effortlessly on this shoot. Â And I am ever so thankful to the Rice Family for letting us capture so much beauty at their vineyard estate. I hope you are all inspired!
