There are three requirements for a memorable wedding; it must be personal, it must be statement-making and most of all it must be be filled with love. Our next wedding is overflowing with all these components. From the effortlessly chic decor that seamlessly blends throughout the day to the gorgeous mountain backdrop full of fall colors.

With help from Aria Floral and Event Design, Katy transformed the barn at Claxton Farm into a Blue Ridge paradise. Katy has a passion for vintage books, and made sure to include them in her centerpieces and throughout the wedding. The couple spent months collecting vintage and recycled bottles, containers, and vases to form their eclectic floral arrangements. Their biggest find, a vintage hutch, was a statement piece outside the main barn where guests could leave notes for the couple on assorted vintage postcards.
Are you already loving Claxton Farm? It’s a breathtaking outdoor wedding venue on a 500 acre working farm just 14 miles north of Asheville and rests on a land conservation providing an idyllic backdrop for your wedding.
After the ceremony guests found their tables by way of handwritten hang tags. As the night proceeded, there was dancing, corn-hole, and s’mores by the fire to be enjoyed. Family and friends gathered sparklers at the end of the night to send off the happy newlyweds.

Katy and her Bridal Party were such a joy to have at Beauty Parade. There is nothing greater than the joy I get from seeing how lovely a bride can be. It is truly an honor to be chosen for such an occasion.
