Crested Butte is a small town in Colorado without traffic lights or chain stores. This quiet little town is surrounded by majestic peaks, wide valleys, and is also the home of our next wedding. An easy and relaxed affair that marries a little bit of country with some on-trend stylish details.
One of our favorite details is their use of the swiss dot pattern throughout their day. From Mariana’s dress to the pattern on Luke’s tie and the wedding cake. You really can never get enough of Swiss dots, a sheer, very lightweight, muslin fabric embellished with raised dots, evenly spaced throughout. Let’s talk more about Mariana’s simple yet incredibly stylish bridal style. As we mentioned before her wedding dress is made of a swiss dotted fabric and, instead of a hair piece she opted for two bright yellow chrysanthemums. They not only match her bridesmaids yellow dresses, but they add a little pop of color. The light gray embellished sash finishes off her look just perfectly. Not to mention it matches Luke’s suit. Simply stylish … don’t you think?
Continuing on to their simple yet super stylish reception. Their tables were lined with gray chevron table cloths. Tiny yellow and teal saucers filled with succulents were used as favors. Vases were filled with yellow chrysanthemums, the flower of the day. The entire day seamlessly blended together without being too matchy matchy.
We adore that Feast and Merriment took Mariana’s bridal style and incorporated it into their wedding cake. With a similar swiss dotted pattern and topped with two yellow chrysanthemums their wedding cake could not have been any cuter.
