Yes, we will wait why you go and pin that first image. We do agree that the sign is pretty darn cute, and the photo is even cuter. Captured by one of our favorite Texas wedding photographers Ryan Ray. You will for sure be inspired by Ryan and Katie’s laid back gray and yellow garden wedding.
This whimsical delight was filled to the brim with thoughtful touches that were beautifully designed by Lavender Joy Weddings. Both these lovely vendors are part of our Hand-Picked collection and you can clearly see why from Ryan and Katie’s wedding. See all the pretty pictures in the full gallery by clicking here.
From the bride:
“I was never the girl who dreamed of the “perfect” day. I didn’t have a vision of the perfect dress, flowers, crafts, etc. All I was sure of when I started planning was the guy! So, when we started planning my main thought for “the big day” was that I wanted it to be simple and fun. I just wanted to celebrate with everyone, and enjoy the company of our favorite people in the whole world.
But that isn’t the most helpful when actually planning the wedding! I started thinking about it – I realized that Ryan and I are pretty laid back and I wanted everything to reflect that. When asked by vendors what the vibe was, I jokingly started calling the wedding “whimsical garden wedding.” But, when all was said and done I think that is exactly what we got. Everyone there just kept saying how “us” it was. Nothing too fancy, but sweet and fun.
It included everything, even the food, which was my absolute favorite! Fajitas, Queso, and margaritas – I could eat that daily. All the vendors we worked with really took my simple vision, and made it absolutely incredible. I came with small ideas, and they took them and created something that was more exciting and beautiful than I could have thought! Coca Cola is a small obsession of mine, so I knew I wanted a table with glass bottles and some cute coca-cola memorabilia. Stefanie took what I had collected and styled it into one of my favorite touches from that day. The relaxed atmosphere was the perfect setting for everyone letting loose and celebrating the night away!”
