Jay and Catherine are a cute and quirky Southern California couple, and like most couples they wanted to make sure their personalities were reflected in their wedding. They opted for a Memorial weekend wedding BBQ at Clarke Estate in Santa Fe Springs, California. Complete with a traditional Argentinian BBQ, gingham napkins, cold beers and lemonade.

From The Groom:
The day was perfect and we wanted every detail to reflect who we were from our style to personalities. he dress worn by cat was a beautiful lace gown from Kara Wedding. With the help of bridesmaid Jen, who is also a talented graphic designer. She helped us put our personal touches on the wedding with cute fan programs to help guests cope with the heat and quirky buttons that groom, groomsmen, and guests all donned on their respective shirts and dresses. Flowers were also bought by us and friend/florist Yuri Yang from flower district in LA. Table settings had cute diy burlap runners with table numbers stenciled in along with gingham napkins to match the backyard BBQ spirit.
Catherine and Jay had 300 guests joining them for their wedding celebration. Not only did the venue have to match their whimsy style, but had to comfortably handle a large group. The Clarke Estate located in Santa Fe Springs, California is was an ideal fit. As you can see, there are plenty of gorgeous spots for photographs. Catherine and Jay had an Argentinian BBQ catered by Martin Fierro BBQ.
Surprisingly, our favorite part of the day was when we greeted and thanked everyone of our 300 guests for joining us to celebrate our very special day. We felt so blessed to see all of our family and friends all in one place. Our venue and decorations all revolved around the idea that we wanted a casual yet festive wedding to go along with the backyard BBQ feel we wanted to match memorial day.
