Pinterest and The Wedding Chicks

As most of you know, we are huge Pinterest addicts and want to fight to keep this creative outlet moving and grooving on the world wide web. To ensure that everything you pin from The Wedding Chicks goes right back to where you found, it we have a Pin It Button on all our images.

When you pin here, anyone who clicks your pin will be taken to the exact post of the original pin. No more frustration, searching for a pin in a haystack! In one click you are right back to the post that you are looking for!  So … you know where the image came from and who it belongs to. Like the pretty vase above from Sarah Winward of Honey of a Thousand Flowers. Yep … we are the first to do this and we are pretty excited about it. We hope you are too! Now go get inspired and please tell us if you love it!

If you are a winner, email davina@weddingchicks.com to claim your prize.

Organic Garden Bridal Session

For Whitney’s bridal session, Stephanie Hunter Photography came up with a styled shoot that focused on Whitney’s fabulous Christian Louboutin. Great idea, right? All this was shot at an old, established estate, Erinshire Gardens in Abilene, Texas, with a romantic shack and candles and writing on the walls.

Whitney’s (now) husband is a doctor, so they incorporated his antique doctor’s bag and an old first edition bright red book that Whitney had given him as a gift (which was perfect, because it matched the signature Louboutin heels). They used various jewelry from one of Whitney’s favorites, Casablanca Boutique, to complete the picture. Throw in an  antique red chair and some funky Anthropologie fabric to pull it all together and Voilá – instant pretty.
