Flower Girl Tutu Dresses

We are not sure why, but a little girl in a tutu is the cutest thing ever. Don’t you think? Just in time for spring Diana Elizabeth and Angela Saban Design collaborated to show the latest trends in tutu attire. Along with showcasing an old, but new venue in downtown Phoenix called The Felch House Inn a 1920s home that was recently purchased. The grounds were updated a bit, but the inside has remained the same, making for a unique Phoenix wedding venue.

All of the tutus you see can be purchased at Jujus Tutus. You see more of the tutu dresses and some beautiful bridal portraits by clicking here.

Project Runway Star | Alison Dahl Kelly

What happens to the stars of project runway after they leave the runway?  They usually do something wonderful like come out with a book and of course usually create their own fashion line. Alison Dahl Kelly, fan favorite of Season three, has her own line for fashion-savvy brides & partygoers.

Dahl dresses are cut from the finest silks and offer silhouettes for many different body types. All of the gowns have a hint at the past in their look and feel. Homage to the 1920s and 1970s can definitely be seen her collection. One of our favorites is a a sweet shift dress with a simple A-line silhouette and a dramatic V at the back with a long mushroom pleated chiffon tie in tomato red. Way cute. Shabby Chic Garden Wedding

Nadia and Jeff’ had a dreamy shabby chic garden wedding. Nadia hand-crafted many of the details in the wedding, including the white ceremony carpet filled with over 2000 petals which were hand-glued by the bride.

The bridesmaids all wore different colored blush dresses and the dessert table was filled with scrumptious treats, including a personalized iPad groom cake, all photographed by Phoebe Joy Photography and coordinated by Majell del Castillo Events. Snow White Wedding

Mirror mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all? Well … it’s the upcoming summer movie, Snow White and the Huntsman. A twisted version of the beloved classic fairy tale. Drawing inspiration from this dark romance, Country Sugar Events and Phenom Photographers brought to life a snow white wedding inspiration with a twist.

All of these Texas vendors really did an outstanding job on this Snow White wedding inspiration. There are more photos to see in the full gallery.

From Country Sugar Events

For color inspiration we drew from food and other natural elements: berries, rye bread, twigs and leaves. The shoot was drawn out in a concept that involved three vignettes. The first, a dinner set for Snow White and The Huntsman. The second more of a classic bridal shoot with an opportunity to showcase the dress, bouquet, and invitation. And the third, a creative play on a sleeping Snow White. We took a modern take on the classic fairytale, but kept key elements visible in order to stay true to the story. Mirrors, apples, and the color red all were statements visible throughout the entire shoot.

The creative process: After securing all of our lovely vendors, we immediately started a collaborative board on pinterest. Welcome to the new age of visual collaboration. This made the process so much easier and fun for everyone involved. We were able to get inside each other’s minds and really work a lot off of everyone’s ideas…in what felt like real time!
