Are you on the fence about wearing a traditional wedding gown? If you are, our next feature might held make up your mind. Crystal decided not to wear white, and slipped on a sparkly sequin dress with a long silhouette and a sultry back this bride dared to be different and came out aces.

From The Bride:
I imagine that how I feel about our wedding is exactly the goal… to feel as though you had the most special and fun and loving day of your life. The whole event felt comfortable, magical and community-based, which stems from the fact that everyone involved from the planner to the photographer to the dress designer to the officiant was either a dear friend or relative. It was just perfect, and every little detail was exactly what Cameron and I wanted as opposed to what you are “supposed” to do. I love that we had the opportunity to spend the entire sunny day together and also have a candle-lit evening ceremony; and I love that we were married by his mother, who became ordained for the occasion. We dined with an intimate group of 35 before the ceremony, celebrated with 140 and danced until 2am! To have all of the people I care about so deeply in one room at the same time made my heart flutter, and being married to my best friend and the man of my dreams will keep the flutter alive for my whole life.
A note from Scarlet O’Neill -The Bridesmaids wrote in blue pen for Crystal’s something blue on the inside of her dress. They wrote their initials inside of a heart. I had seen something like this from Pinterest and when we realized she didn’t have something I suggested it. It made it just that much more personal!

Wow. That dress is insane!! I love the very non-traditional “getting the gown on shot… usually it’s some mum buttoning or zipping, but this has almost a sexy boudoir feel (which is totally awesome!!) The tilt-shift effect is also a really lovely way to work with the way the dress catches the light.
