Pinwheel Inspired Wedding

We are back from our much needed hiatus and have a ton of amazing weddings to share with you. We are excited to start the week off with this lakeside wedding captured by Souder Photography.

There are more than a few special touches to Allison and Stu’s lakeside wedding; one that we especially love is that Allison and her dad made their entrance to the ceremony by boat!

Allison wanted the wedding decor to fit with the natural setting but Lovebird Style wanted to add a whimsical touch. They used birch wood vases, burlap, a family collection of jars and organic flower arrangements designed by Artisan Flowers to dress the tables. They couldn’t stop there so with the help of a few Allison’s friends, they made a bunch of paper pinwheels to stick in the flower arrangements and wood directional signs.

  8. I love the location, and I agree her dress is just GORGEOUS! I think lace is back in a big way. I wore a vintage chinese lace dress to a 20s themed party recently, just grabbed it out of our store without thinking about what’s trending and everyone wanted it!

    I love the rustic lake theme here, makes me want to be there!
