Wow, I have been glued to Lori’s blog…everything is so beautiful! I love how she uses paper textures. I like the whole sets of invites that are a mixuture of rough cardstock contrast to delicate lace or ribbon…
PERFECTION!
These hanky invitations would be a perfect addition to my vintage themed wedding in 2012.
♥
WOW!!!! I just love losing myself in all the beautiful invites. I love her use of natural textures and old world charming string.
Oh my goodness, where do I start? Lori’s work is simply beautiful. She is so thoughtful and creative down to the smallest detail! Like the invitation set created for Noelle and Chris…it even had a tiny mason jar incorporated in the return address. And everything ties together…sometimes literally…I love the emphasis on adding texture with the various twines, laces, etc. but it’s never overdone. Creative genius!
Wow, these hankies are just gorgeous. I love the style and think they’d be so perfect for my wedding. I checked out the blog, and love all the attention to detail on every single design. The twine, tags, and all the different typefaces are amazing. I’m a sucker for typography…keeping my fingers crossed!! xx
As a lover of all things fabric, I adored Lori’s fabric backed save the dates – what a wonderful idea and a great way to use up large fabric scraps! xx
Absolutely fantastic! So quirky and original. I’m also having a vintage wedding and after looking at these beautiful designs I think i’ve found the perfect invites! Amazing.
OK wow. I had picked these exact same hanky invitations out and saved them to my inspiration for my wedding. We are on a tight budget and I wanted them so badly, but not sure if we can afford them yet. I would just LOVE to win these adorable lil hankies. My heart would be content.
Each hankie is so unique and I love that about them. She does such a wonderful job! I would love to see her invites sold in the shop, for sure! :)
In the meantime, I will keep my fingers AND toes crossed :)

These are so incredibly pretty, especially the ones with embroidery! I would love to win these, as they would fit right in with my simple, floral, vintage theme!
These invitations are incredibly sweet. They remind me of my grandmother who always gave me a “hankie” on my birthday. Now my sweet daughter is getting married, and I’d love for her to have invitations like this. What a great idea!
What a fantastic idea to fit the perfect rustic/outdoor theme of my wedding!
I love that these are so unique and personalized!
These are the statement piece that I’ve been looking for.
I love the detail and uniqueness of her invites. Such a great personal touch on every single one.
All of her designs are exquisite! Even though they are all so different from each other, I love them all because they are each perfect for their event. Beautiful work :)
wow, these are amazing! It really seems like she gets the “feel” of each couple captured in the invitation. They are so personal.
I love the detail and how they are unlike anything I’ve seen! Perfect!
The invitation would serve as a keepsake for every guest as well!
I love the romantic feel to all of Paper and Thread Studio’s invitations. While some are more modern and others vintage-inspired, each invitation has that special touch of the whimsical, natural or even the fairy-tale. I’m especially drawn to the more vintage or natural invitations – letterpress on cardboard-esque cardstock is a particular favorite for me – and these vintage hankie invites are something unique and fantastic I never would have considered. Paper and Thread has some real creativity behind its designs.
I love that these invitations are so personal and individual. You can pick out the invites that match your guests personality. The invites are gorgeous without being stuffy or formal. <3 Love!
I love the way Lori incorporates little pockets in her invitations for weddings and all celebrations! I have a special affinity for containers, pockets, folders – it’s the OCD organizer side of my artsy brain! Would love to share this with my brides!
Her heart in her business is just so evident. You see in her designs that she takes the time to talk with her clients about their visions for their special day, whether it’s a wedding, birthday, or graduation. Everything I see on this blog is precious, and something to treasure- a great touch to an amazing moment in a person’s life.
These are so perfect! Something so simple yet so cute!
Stunning comes to mind when I see these! What a great combination of vintage and charm!
The hankie adds so much extra detail and beauty! Love these!
I’m a fan of vintage and unique, and these hankie invites are both! I love that each guest gets their own one of a kind invite. That makes it so personal and special!
I absolutely adore that TLC is put into every piece she makes. That’s what makes those invites extra special – Not only are the cute, but the thought process that goes into them is astounding. Such a creative little bee! The hankies remind me of the older aunts & uncles we have lost on both sides of our families – They always had hankies for when we needed them. You don’t see too many of them around anymore, and I think that would be a great way to incorporate them & the thoughtfulness into our big day.
Love the vintage, old-world charm and originality!
I LOVE her invitations, the way she puts thought into the littlest details. She does amazing work and I adore these hankie invites. Would go so well with my wedding and its something I have wanted to do but don’t have the resources.
Sooooooooooo many memories of grandma come to mind….would be really wonderful to have these as a special tribute to her. They are as dainty and feminine and special as she was. LOVE them.
what beautiful work! my favorite part of Lori’s work are the small details such as the mason jar with initials on it on the back of the envelope above the return address, little details like that really tie everything together and make it one of a kind. the invites are simply gorgeous and one of a kind!
My FAVORITE invitation I have ever seen. Those would be so fun and unique for guests to get as the invitation. I am seriously in love with it. I completely matches our style wedding because we are doing a ranch wedding. I love how they look so vintage and they also have so much detail. I truly hope I get to be the lucky winner for this give a way. Love them!!!
The Paper & Thread Blog is a fantastic place to get inspiration for my wedding invites. The hankie idea is absolutely awesome- so unique and fitting with my theme. I love the detail and effort that goes in to these designs – just amazing. They look like they are made with love and care…
I love the idea of something that is actually usable – it always makes me cringe when I throw away a wedding invitation and think about how much the bride/groom spent on them. After looking at the Paper and Thread site, I love the welcome kit with the door hangar and welcome booklet that is such a great idea for a destination wedding!

I love Paper and Thread’s lined, kraft paper envelopes. They show beautiful detail in all of their invitation sets. (But I love the handkerchief invites the best!)
The sewing detail on the Daisy invites is really adorable. I really appreciate all of the cute packaging materials, from the twin and ribbon to the buttons and lace. Fantastic detail!

Lori is incredible. Her designs are heartwarming and thoughtful, and texture.. oh the texture! It is clear that her heart is in her work and I admire her success story. These hanky invites are truly adorable and would fit nicely into the concept for my wedding. My fiance and I are both old souls (so we’ve been told) and we are in the process of buying a heritage property. The house will be 150 years old next year. To christen the property we will be holding our wedding in the pasture adjacent to the house. My dress is a 1950s original that has never been worn, I swear it has been waiting for me. Regardless if I win these hanky invites, which would fit lovely with our wedding, thank you for introducing me to Lori at Paper and Thread Studios! A true artist!
I love how each one of these invites is unique. It reminds me of how each guest is unique to us and has influenced our lives in some way. If i won this contest, it would be so hard to decide who gets what hankie!
the sweet simplicity and attention to detail of paper & thread’s invitations would be the perfect addition to the wedding chick shop!
Seeing as today is my birthday, if I won this it would be the best present ever, haha.
Omg. These invitations made me cry. My aunt used to cross stitch. She recently passed away from cancer and devastated me and our family. I have fond memories of her cross stitching and she made my sisters a cross stitched plaque for their wedding and she was going to do one for me, but now she is gone. What a great way I could honor her for our wedding. I had no idea these types of invitations were available. So beautiful. If I won these invitations, I would pick the lace because that was my aunt’s favorite!
I love her hand drown map invitations! its so cute and unique! wedding chick must carry this in the shop!

i inherited some vintage hankies from my grandmother when she passed away earlier this year, and i’ve been thinking of ways to incorporate them into my wedding.
as for lori’s blog, i love how everything seems to really convey the individuality of the event or the couple she has created them for. the welcome packet stationery especially caught my eye- would be great to see something like that in your store.
These are beautiful..
These vintage hankie invites are reminiscent of the floral hankies that my grandma used to always have in her sunday purse – fond memories…
