Monika & Joe were married in downtown San Diego at the The Ultimate Skybox. Their vision from the beginning was a travel/art deco/old Hollywood affair with closest family and friends. Monika designed every detail, including all of the flower arrangements.
Since Monika is from Poland they incorporated the Polish tradition of presenting two shot glasses to the bride and groom. One containing water and the other containing vodka. Whoever picked the vodka is said to “wear the pants in the relationship.” You can tell by the photos who found the vodka.

That cake is INCREDIBLE! What kind of feathers are those??
How flattering to read these comments, and thrilling to know that all the over thinking was worth it. Thank you to all for making me feel so awsome, and taking note of the details.
That cake! That bouquet! Exquisite.
Would love to know the type of flowers used in the bouquet, any insight?
Those flowers are FIERCE!
Thanks so much for the feature!! And to everyone for the sweet comments!! @Brenda – the bride did ALL the flowers herself and designed the table numbers…she’s seriously talented.
Who is responsible for those beautiful flowers? that cake? and the table numbers?? It is all gorgeous!!! Great photos Megan and Congrats to the couple… STUNNING wedding!
I love it and it is not because I’m from Poland :). All the details are so amazing and express the theme of the wedding perfectly.
