This outdoor DIY wedding is sure to give you some wonderful yet do-able ideas.
The couple made sure that all the little details had their own personal touch. The bride’s necklace was a family heirloom, the napkin holders were handmade, and even their wedding cakes were placed on tree trunks to show their love for the outdoors.
We love the family style seating with the river view in the background. So incredibly magical. What is your favorite part? To see all the DIY wedding details click here.

i’m in LOVE with her dress! ♥
Georgeous. I love the organic feel to this.
Brides don’t always know very much about what wedding planners do. It could be that the idea of having a wedding planner is new where you live or it could be they have misunderstandings based on wedding planners they have seen in the movies or on television. Or, they watch the news and read in the newspapers about a bride and groom who have been cheated by an unscrupulous wedding planner, forgetting that these are very rare occurrences.
love the tree stump cake platters! very creative! love the angles the photographer used to capture the details of the objects, the setting, and the event!
a very memorable, once-in-a-lifetime moment captured really well by an awesome, talented photographer!
love this idea for a wedding. The photos are gorgeous! They really capture the setting beautifully!! Wish I could get remarried (to the same man) for the pictures!!
Hi, everyone – bride here. Thanks for all the comments. JagoFoto was definitely great, and we had great engagement shots, too.
The dress was made for me by someone on Etsy’s Alchemy, modeled after the dress worn by Victoria of Victoria + Fritz, the most beautiful wedding ever!
I found the lanterns at a thrift store, so no idea on brand names. I loved all the different vintage patterns, and glad you did, too.
Thanks for featuring our wedding.
Best,
Amanda
Wow! I love the pictures, great photographer! Does she have a website or contact information for shooting my upcoming wedding? Does she travel within the US or just the SF Bay area. Wow me and my fiance are soo excited to talk to her!
LOVE everything! This is what I envision for my own wedding, coming up in August. My favorite element is definitely the lanterns, though. SO pretty!
Where did she find those floral lanterns? They have a great vintage look and I’ve never seen them before! Love this wedding!
