The Royal Honeymoon in Seychelles

The Royal wedding is just about to happen and the happy couple is almost off to their Honeymoon. There is much speculation on where Kate and William will visit, but one rumored destination is the Desroches Island in the Seychelles.

Desroches or the North Island in the Seychelles, 930 miles off the coast of Africa in the Indian Ocean. Filled with pristine beaches and luxury villas fit for a prince and princess.

If there is no limit to where you plan to go on your honeymoon, this may be the place to check out. They have a few options to stay but, of course we will focus on the Presidential Villa. It’s complete with a private swimming pool and a private chef. Nothing but the best.

The activities are endless … with over 8 miles of unspoiled beaches and forested hinterland, you can explore nature, cycle the island’s jungle or simply lose yourself in paradise.

For more information and rates visit Desroches Island and share with us where you plan to go on your honeymoon. We are rather curious as to what is popular these days in the honeymoon world.

High Fashion Wedding Inspiration

Who is ready for some serious fanciness? We have a editorial photo shoot from Delbarr Moradi for Scene Magazine’s Spring issue, in the Bay Area.

Talk about over the top razzle-dazzle. The shoot features some of our favorite wedding ateliers, Vera Wang, Romona Keveza, Jenny Packham and Melissa Sweet to name a few. Let us know which of the dresses you loved the most.

To see all the photos from the shoot click here.

Above, we have a large tulle dress with black bow by Vera Wang and Hairpiece by Maria Elena. The Jewelry is by Smythe & Cross Fine Jewelry and shoes by Valentino. We happen to have the entire Vera Wang wedding dress collection for you to peruse as well by clicking here.

Up next, we have the ever beautiful Vintage lace gown by Jenny Packham and hair piece by Maria Elena. Jenny really does boho chic right in this vintage inspired gown. Perfect for a backyard wedding in the spring. To see the entire Jenny Packham wedding dress collection click here.

We love us some Melissa Sweet, especially when it has a punk rock twist. The tea length gown is quite a head turner. The shoes are by Sam Edelmann and the jewelry cuff by Philippe Audibert Paris which you can buy at Bella Rosa Boutique. If you would like to swoon over more Melissa Sweet prettiness click here to view the entire collection.

The Rosettes gown is by Rosa Clara and veil by Clarissa Bridal Salon. This gown is so incredibly glamorous and oozes high fashion. We cannot express how we love a rosette done right.

Nothing says courthouse chic like Chanel and a bird cage veil by Maria Elena with a pair of good old fashion Jimmy Choo peep toe pumps. Wouldn’t you agree? We can honestly say that this lovely little Chanel number would most certainly be worn again after the papers were signed and the i dos have been said.
